Product Manager
My resume was shortlisted by HR and we scheduled a Skype interview, but it was cancelled twice by the interviewer who became unavailable. It was frustrating as it felt like a waste of time. Later, I had an in-person interview with another director which went well. They then asked for another Skype interview with the same person who cancelled twice before. Due to the interviewer's travel, scheduling took time. After a week of follow-up, they informed me that I wasn't shortlisted, so arrangements for the Skype interview weren't made, which was confusing given the previous requests for the interview.

Email and Social Media Specialist
I sent in my resume and got a phone interview super fast. It was a pretty standard call asking about my background. The interviewer was really nice and easy to chat with. They invited me for an in-person interview, which was also great. I met the manager and three team leads. The next week, I did a writing assignment, had one more phone call, and then got the job offer. I was pretty happy with how quick everything was compared to other places.

Marketing Coordinator
I got an email about a week after applying, asking when I was free for a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty short, about 20 minutes, and it went well. Then, later that same week, I was invited for an in-person interview. It was a good experience; I talked with the VP of Marketing and two other team members for about an hour. They seemed really nice and asked me about my background, why I thought I'd be a good fit, and told me more about the company.
- Can you share an experience of managing an event from beginning to end?
E-Marketing Manager
I had one of the most unusual and worst interview experiences at the Alexandria office. I only met with one interviewer, who seemed quite stern. It was very casual. What really made me decide not to accept the offer was when we went out to their nice patio overlooking the Potomac, and he said he hadn't been out there in the three years he'd worked there. That was a red flag for me, and I later found out it might be a difficult place to work. Just a heads up.
