I had a phone call first, then they called me for a face-to-face interview in Bangalore. At the F2F, there was a written test, and then a video call interview with someone senior in Noida. When I asked him about the project, he said he wasn't that involved and to ask the Manager, but the Manager wasn't in Bangalore. The salary offer was lower than expected, even though I was willing to compromise. After I rejected the offer because of the salary, the same person I had the video call with called me back and talked at length about Fiserv and why I wasn't joining, making offers. He wouldn't listen to my perspective at all.

So, I was referred by a friend for an Automation role at Fiserv Noida. They called me for a recruitment drive on a weekend, which was like 3 weeks after the referral. For someone with 5 years of experience in automation, they started with a written test that was all about manual concepts, kind of like ISTQB questions. After I passed that, there was a technical round, again focusing on manual concepts. Then, HR did a round and I cleared both the technical and managerial rounds. Even though my feedback was good, HR told me to leave and said they'd contact me about salary and notice period. I followed up a lot, and after several weeks, HR finally called to discuss salary and notice period. I told them my expectations, but they couldn't meet them due to their salary bands. A week later, HR called again for two more rounds, which I thought meant they could meet my salary expectations. I did those rounds, and a manager asked when I could join. I said I couldn't commit to a joining date without an offer. The manager seemed surprised that an offer hadn't been released yet, pointing out a process gap. The next day, HR called again for salary discussion, and it was the same issue as before. Throughout this, HR rarely responded to my follow-up emails.

The interview went really well. First, I had a phone chat with HR who asked some basic questions. After that, I had a phone screen with the QA architect. This was followed by a one-on-one interview on the same day. The one-on-one interview went smoothly; they mainly inquired about my background, specifically the courses I've completed and details about my past projects. Everyone was very friendly. I also had a written test because the role involves software development and testing, particularly with OOP concepts.
