First I had an initial phone screen with HR, then a week later, a phone screen with the manager. After that, I had an onsite interview with the team members, the manager, and the manager's manager. The questions asked onsite were straightforward and relevant to the role.

My interview experience at Fiserv was pretty bad. I got an email from HR for a Selenium testing role and was asked to be there by 1:30 PM sharp. I arrived at 1 PM, earlier than expected, and found about 300 other people already waiting for the first round. I finally got my turn at 8 PM, and honestly, it felt like they were just killing time because they probably already had someone in mind. I really need to talk to their HR about capacity planning. They called 300 candidates for the technical round, but only had 5 interviewers. If each interview takes about 30 minutes, their total capacity over 8 hours is only 80 people, and they invited 300! The HR team had no plan at all. A really bad experience. The technical interview felt like a formality; they weren't really interested in my answers.

Technical Coding

I applied for this job through a job board and the office in Bangalore was quite small, not really like a big MNC office. But the interview process was really organized and they saw candidates in the order they came. First, there was an online written test which I passed. Then, I had a technical interview with two people, one who was an expert in Manual Testing and another in Automation. They knew their stuff and asked some really good questions. Since I only had manual testing experience, I didn't make it because they were looking for someone with both manual and automation skills. I think the HR should have filtered the resumes better for this role, but overall it was a decent experience.
