I got this interview through my college's placement drive. After being shortlisted based on a CGPA criterion (8.0), I took an online test. The test was fairly easy, with MCQs covering topics like OS, DBMS, OOP, and CN, followed by two easy-to-medium coding questions. Since many students solved both coding questions, the selection was based on MCQ accuracy and the time taken to complete the test.

Behavioral

It was a pretty quick interview process. First, I had an in-person chat with a recruiter, then another with the hiring manager, and finally, one with the SVP. They asked me behavioral questions, specifically about handling challenging individuals and meeting deadlines. For this particular role, there weren't any assessments or tests.

The HR team was a bit disorganized. I had a phone screening scheduled but the HR rep didn't call at the scheduled time. Two days later, I got an email saying she had emergency meetings that messed up her schedule. She apologized and we rescheduled. After the initial phone screen, they wanted me to do four more phone interviews with department members and the hiring manager. I got an itinerary late one afternoon for three phone interviews the next morning and the fourth one the day after. I replied that because of the short notice, I needed to reschedule one of the four interviews. The first interview was set for 10 am the next day. An HR rep called at 10:15 saying we needed to reschedule the whole day because I hadn't confirmed with her the day before. Now they also wanted me to come in for three in-person interviews, but the fourth could still be a phone call. They wanted to schedule these on-site interviews for the next day. I suggested several possible times, but due to the short notice, I needed to get time off work, and she needed to confirm interviewer availability. I thought we'd touch base again to set the actual times. Instead, the HR rep just scheduled me anyway and sent out an itinerary. I told her the scheduled time wouldn't work, and she got defensive and argumentative when I suggested rescheduling for the following week. At that point, I withdrew my application.
