Since it was a junior role, they weren't expecting a ton of experience, mostly just wanted to see your motivation, ambition, and if you'd be a good personality fit.

I had a video chat and the people were really nice which made it easy to chat about my work and my background. I usually feel awkward on video chats but this one went really well and I felt pretty relaxed with them.

I applied online and heard back from a recruiter within a week. We set up a time, and the following week I visited the office in Lower Manhattan. It was nice, and I got a quick tour. I then met with the Director of Business Planning and later the SVP. The whole thing took about 2.5 weeks.

They are trying to get a sense of what kind of person you are and if you will be a good fit in their company. They are mostly young talented Publicist that work there and they want to make sure you will be an asset.
