Operations Manager
The company is hiring due to an acquisition and possible burnout among managers. They have a 10-week training program.
- Tell me about how you'd handle unexpected situations and describe your approach to management.
- How do you manage people?
Operations Manager
I was well informed about the process. The interviewers were friendly and nice. They allowed me to ask questions and provided complete answers. My desire for the job increased after the interview.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Operations Manager
First, I talked with HR, who didn't really know the job details and shouldn't have been the first point of contact. Then, I interviewed with the department head, which was great. After that, I had interviews with two other people in the department, which were just okay – it felt like they wanted to work with another guy. So, three interviews total. After the interviews and a follow-up call, they ghosted me and didn't even bother to let me know I wasn't moving forward. They actually lied when I called back, saying they were still considering candidates, then realized it was me and quickly changed the subject to upcoming in-person interviews. I never heard back, not even an email.
- Can you describe your experience in IT?
