The interview process was quick and easy, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. The compensation wasn't what I expected, though. The staff seemed like great people to work with, but I ended up declining the offer and will be looking for other opportunities.

I went through a super long interview process with First United Bank, taking several months and over seven interviews for one job. The recruiters were nice enough, but it was hard to get updates and things moved slowly. They weren't very clear about what was coming next, and after putting in so much time, they passed on me without much explanation. If you're looking to interview there, you should probably ask upfront about the timeline and what to expect between interviews. The bank talks a lot about its values, but my experience didn't really show that same level of consideration for people's time.

So I had one interview with the Financial Center Manager and the Senior Relationship Banker. They had a list of questions and asked me stuff, probably around 20 questions in total. They asked standard questions like 'Tell me about a time you got good or bad customer service'. Then they asked me if I had any questions. I got an offer from HR about a week later. It was for an entry level job, and pretty easy, they just wanted to see if I was good with customers and could be trusted with money.

Got a call from HR for an initial phone screen, then moved to the team I applied to. Had a decent interview, but after several follow-ups, I was ghosted by First United. Really disrespectful of my time, and I'm glad I found out early that this isn't the type of people or company I want to work for. This happened a while ago, so maybe things have changed.
