First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at First Tee.
Program Manager
The interview process was enjoyable and included several interviews, both in individual and group contexts. There was also an instructional component where I worked with some of the participants in the program.
- Do you have any instructional experience in junior golf?
Intern
First, I talked to the talent and culture coordinator about the internship's details and confirmed the dates. Then, I had a more standard interview with the hiring manager. They were slow to respond after that.
- What would you consider to be your dream job?
Camp Counselor
The interview was pretty simple, mostly a conversation. They didn't even ask for my resume. It was really quick, only about 15 minutes.
- Can you multitask?
Programmer
They seemed interested in my prior research/knowledge of The First Tee program. They asked about my fundraising and event experiences. They wanted to know if I understood how non-profits operate and if I'm comfortable with teamwork and a 'jack of all trades' kind of role.
- Can you tell me about your experience with youth programming?
