The interview process is how employers check out people for a job. It usually goes like this: First, they look at resumes to see who fits the basic requirements and might ask you to do an online application. Then, they'll give you a call or video chat to see if your skills and experience are a good match. After that, if they like you, you'll go to their office for an in-person interview to check your personality and if you'd fit in with the team. Sometimes, you might have more interviews with other people on the team. They'll also check your references to make sure your past work is legit. If you make it through all that, they'll give you a job offer with the details like pay and benefits. If you accept, then comes the onboarding, where they get you started with training and paperwork.
