First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at First Security Bank.
Retail Banker
I had a phone and email pre-screen. The hiring managers were great and friendly. I recommend the bank to anyone looking to get into banking. They had fast and quick replies. The bank is growing and growing.
- Tell me about your job qualifications and experience.
Retail Banker
It was easy to connect with the people I met. I really enjoyed meeting everyone from HR. I felt totally at ease, like we were just chatting informally. We even went to lunch and had a good hour-long conversation. There will be a drug test.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What is your availability like?
- Describe your personality.
Accountant
There were two office visits. The first office visit was a chat with the CEO and the head of accounting. Then, the second round was with all the senior employees. The vibe was pretty chill, and it felt like a regular conversation back and forth. I was pretty wiped out after the whole thing because it went for about 2 hours straight, no breaks.
- Can you describe your proficiency with Microsoft Excel?
- What motivated your decision to study accounting?
- What specifically draws you to our firm?
Bank Teller
Had a short interview, there were a couple interruptions and they offered me water. It felt very nerve-racking. Two people were interviewing me, one had to step out 2 or 3 times. Only one person asked the questions, the other just agreed. It lasted about 30 minutes.
- Would you be open to traveling within the metro area?
