First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at First Insight (Pennsylvania).
Key Account Manager
The interview process was pretty simple and moved along fast. The biggest shocker was at the end with the CEO, who didn't ask anything about my background, why I wanted the job, etc.
- What's your long-term vision for the next 20 years?
Software Developer
I interviewed for a Java developer position. There were 3 rounds in total: a written test, a technical interview, and an HR interview. It wasn't too difficult; you just need to be able to talk about your past experience and be solid on the fundamentals.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
- What are some key Java concepts you can explain?
Vice President Product Management and Business Development
The interview process involved typical initial interviews, followed by a presentation where I had to simulate pitching the company's solution to a potential client. The entire hiring process was quite swift, concluding in under six weeks from the initial interview to my start date. A background check was also a part of the process. I had multiple chances to ask questions and get a feel for the company, the team, and the responsibilities of the role.
- At an integrated retailer, who is responsible for the customer (consumer)? Is it marketing, product management, or someone else?
Human Resources
The people I spoke with seemed knowledgeable and forward-thinking. The interview process itself was quite lengthy, spanning several months with multiple interviewers. Despite my efforts to follow up, I was never informed whether I received the position.
- What value do you believe you can bring to the organization?
