Sales Representative
Phone interview, then a Zoom call that was rescheduled 20 minutes after it was supposed to start, which was kind of poor. The next Zoom call went well, they were nice and knowledgeable. Then I met with the RM and DM, who were great. After that, I met with the RVP, who wasn't very personable but was generally okay. They then went silent for over a month, despite saying they'd follow up weekly, which they never did. I never got a direct answer. Communication is really important.

Skip Tracer
Found the job on a job board. Got a call the same day I applied to schedule a phone interview with the recruiter, which was about 30 minutes. Then I got an online skills assessment test. Weirdly, it was for an Administrative Assistant, not the Skip Tracer job I applied for. I finished that in 45 minutes. The next business day, I got an email to set up an interview with the team, team lead, and manager. It was in two parts: first with 2 team members, then with the team lead and manager. This second interview was about 40 minutes. I realized during that interview it wasn't the right fit for me or the team, but I didn't want to seem rude by ending it early. I got a rejection email the day after. Honestly, I don't get why they make candidates with years of experience do a skills test. It seems like they should only send that out right before extending an offer, not waste our time when we could be looking for other jobs.
- Can you tell us something about yourself that isn't related to your work experience?
- How would you handle specific situations that we describe?
- What prompted your departure from your most recent position?
Cancellations Specialist
The interview process was amazing. The recruiter stayed in touch with me and was quick to answer my emails with any questions I had forgotten to ask while we were on the phone. I had my second interview with my managers, they were so kind and made the process seamless. They calmed my nerves and put me right at ease.
- Why are you a good fit for this role?
Analyst
I had a phone call with a recruiter where they went over the job description with me. Then I had to do a case study. After I finished the case study, I didn't hear anything back for about a week. When they finally got in touch, they said they were actually looking to fill a different role that I hadn't even applied for. This new role was less senior and had totally different requirements. It felt like a bait and switch, and it really showed me what kind of organization they are. I decided not to continue the process.
