Applied online and went through multiple interviews with team members. Took about a month to get a response. The interviews were pretty standard, covering my interests, resume, and general knowledge.

The interview process was quite lengthy and could have been more efficient if not for some scheduling issues, but everything worked out with an offer in the end. I really liked that some of the interviews were in person.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I found the opening on LinkedIn and applied. First, I had a 30-minute introductory phone call with a hiring manager, which I felt went well. Then, I was invited to their office for an in-person interview. I met with four other internal wholesalers, someone from HR, and two hiring managers. The in-person part was supposed to take about 3 hours, but they had a last-minute meeting and I ended up waiting around for two hours, which was pretty annoying. The hiring manager initially mentioned liking my resume because my different background could bring a fresh perspective. The interview seemed to go okay, and they talked about next steps. However, they ghosted me for a week. When I followed up, I received a generic response saying they were looking for someone with more relevant experience, which felt like a waste of my time. Also, be aware that the wholesaler desk is like a 'boy's club' and you need to be able to fit in.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was quite straightforward and focused on understanding who you are and what skills you possess. They assessed your foundational finance knowledge. Since the role is remote, they acknowledged a potential learning period. The discussion included the possibility of extended work hours and weekend work during busy periods, highlighting their emphasis on work ethic and commitment to the company. Being an entry-level position, they expect to provide all necessary training.
