Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was a bit disorganized. While the HR person and others I met were friendly, I observed a high-level manager speak rudely to a subordinate, which was awkward. After the third interview, I got a call checking my continued interest, which seemed promising. However, I then heard nothing back, which was strange. It's confusing to be asked about continued interest if the process isn't moving forward, especially without any follow-up, like confirmation that another candidate was chosen.

It was a really thorough interview process for the Graphic Designer role on the First Book Marketplace website. First, I had a screening call with HR, Ashley. She was great and gave me a full rundown of what to expect in the interviews and about benefits. She was also quick to set up the next interview and responsive via email. After that, I met with the Merchandising Director, who would be my manager, and then had interviews with the Head of Marketing and the Director of UX. The last interview was with the Chief Admin Officer. All the interviews went well, and everyone was friendly and asked good questions. They also answered all my questions clearly and explained what they were looking for and what their needs were.

Got a call from HR about my resume, and they set up an in-person interview with the VP and Director. I chatted with each of them for about half an hour. It was pretty chill and conversational. We talked about my strengths and what I could contribute to the company. I also asked them a bunch of questions about the team and the workplace culture.

The interview process was smooth and really quick. They were very compassionate towards me. First, I had a phone screen. Then, I had an in-person interview with two managers. After that, I had a final in-person interview with the HR director. Finally, they called me with an offer.
