Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at First American Financial Corporation.
Intern
I had a phone interview, then I met with three members of the team for back-to-back 30-minute interviews. Everyone was really nice and welcoming, especially the recruiter. They ended up offering me the job remotely.
- What is your interest in First American?
- What makes you interested in this specific role?
- Can you tell me about your previous experiences?
Intern
It was a really good interview experience. They were trying to get to know me better, so it wasn't too stressful. I ended up talking with four people from the team. Everyone was super friendly and seemed interested in learning about me, just like I was interested in learning about them.
- Can you tell me about your involvement in school?
- What would you say are your strengths?
- What do you consider your biggest weaknesses?
Intern
It was 3 rounds total. First was a phone screener, then a panel with analysts, and the last one was in person. They asked basic behavioral questions, nothing technical, just aimed at getting to know you and your past experience/resume. Had a really great experience with HR.
- What specifically makes you interested in First American?
- Can you explain why you are interested in this particular role?
