First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at First Alarm Security Services.
Security Officer
The interview was quick and a bit uncomfortable. They asked me stuff that didn't really seem related to the job, like about the schedule and uniform. We went over some rules and regulations. I had to sign some papers. After the interview, I had to go to a lab near the hospital for a drug test.
- Were you planning on getting married or having a baby anytime soon?
- What are your thoughts on the schedule?
- What are your thoughts on the uniform?
Security Officer
The interviews for this role were pretty standard, asking the usual questions. What stood out was that they were the only security company out of the five I applied to that didn't call me back the next day.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strength?
- What would you consider your greatest weakness?
- What aspects did you find most enjoyable about your last job?
Security Officer
They asked basic questions, about my hours availability, and a drug screen. If you don't have your 50 hour guard card already, they give you a series of online tests to get it. The company is probably good, it's just the supervisors at my location that are tyrants and management doesn't do anything about it. The job site is fine, it's just the supervisors. Employee morale is a problem because of this person, KH.
- In your opinion, where do you see yourself in 3 years?
- What are your strengths?
- Are you able to show up to work on time?
