Enterprise Account Executive
So, the first round was a typical call with their internal TA. The second round was supposed to be with the hiring manager, but they totally no-showed! This was despite me being flexible and accommodating their schedule. To give you the whole story: Their TA reached out on Linkedin, and we set up an initial call. Just 14 minutes before, they rescheduled for an hour later. I waited, but no call came. I messaged again, and after another hour, they said they were waiting for my email and had joined another meeting. We finally had that call the next afternoon. That same evening, the TA said I was moving on to the hiring manager round and suggested 10 am the next day. I agreed to the next round but couldn't make 10 am and offered my availability. After some back and forth, the TA asked if I could do Friday or Saturday morning between 9:30-11:30 am. I rearranged my schedule for Friday 9:30 am. And then... the interviewer didn't show up. I messaged the TA right away, and later that afternoon, I got a message apologizing, saying the hiring manager overslept because they got back early in the morning. They asked to reschedule for that day, the next day, or Monday. They didn't mean to waste my time and hoped I'd understand.

Sales Associate
I first got contacted on LinkedIn to set up a video chat with someone from Talent Acquisition. It was a chill opportunity to learn about the company and the two jobs that might be available, and for me to talk about my background. We then set up two more video calls, one for each role. Again, I got to learn more and share my experience. The third call was more like a formal interview, with specific questions and a clear structure. Less than a week later, I got the good news!

Staff Frontend Engineer
Got reached out by the internal recruiter on LinkedIn. First was a 30-minute Recruiter call, which was a good experience. Then a 1-hour Experience & Culture fit interview, which was great, the interviewer was knowledgeable and really seemed interested in my background. Next was a React Live Coding interview. The interviewer from Slovakia joined 10 minutes late and said I could use any AI tool I wanted. He seemed totally uninterested and the Code Sandbox environment kept glitching, needing multiple refreshes. Suddenly, we were out of time, and he said he had another meeting, so I had to finish the code on my own and email it to him. He left after 50 minutes. I completed the code with extra features and emailed it, but got a rejection email two days later even after following up with the recruiter twice.
- Due to an NDA, I am unable to share the specific questions asked.
Director
I was contacted by the head of recruiting and we exchanged emails to schedule a Zoom interview. I nearly passed on the opportunity due to negative Glassdoor reviews, but curiosity led me to continue. I ended up meeting with three executives, who were surprisingly pleasant. Each interview lasted an hour, though they passed by quickly. The whole process wrapped up within two weeks, culminating in an offer. There was some negotiation on compensation as their initial range was lower than I anticipated. They offered a significant amount of stock, and we eventually agreed on terms satisfactory to both sides.
- Can you describe how you organize your day-to-day activities?
