First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Firetoss.
Account Manager
The interview felt really chill and genuine. They avoided those typical annoying interview questions. They were more interested in getting to know you and your personality. Questions touched on your drive and passion. It's a good idea to have examples of work you've done or been a part of ready.
- Can you tell me about a project you finished over the past year?
Marketing Intern
I got a call for an initial interview, then went in to talk to the hiring manager. After that, I got another call back and spoke with the CEO. Three days later, I got the job offer.
- What makes you want to work at this company?
Sales
I reached out to Polevault after hearing about them at the University of Utah. I was interning at a similar company and had just recently graduated with a marketing degree. I submitted my resume, but since I knew some people there, I only had one formal interview before getting the job offer. The interview seemed to focus more on personality and drive than experience and skills. This is how I think interviews should be for recent graduates with limited experience. Candidates interviewing here shouldn't feel pressured to be someone they're not, just be honest and natural.
- Depending on the role, knowledge of specific CRMs, platforms, or programming languages might be necessary. They'll be upfront if you're not qualified, but they might offer an internship to help you learn.
