First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Firequench.
Firealarm Technician
I was called for an interview and given a 1.5-hour window to make it to an in-person interview, which was not feasible due to my schedule. When I asked to reschedule for another day, the person on the phone said no. It felt like they aren't really hiring as much as the job listings indicate. I don't know what I did or said to deserve such disrespect for my time. The call was only 43 seconds long, almost as if they had already decided to reject me. Even if I could have made it, their timeframe was unreasonable. If this is how they treat potential employees, I can only imagine how they treat actual hires. I'd avoid this company.

Field Service Technician
The interview process was kind of smooth, I submitted my application via email (email was provided in the online posting) the next day I received a call to schedule a 1:1 interview with the Founder/CEO, the interview was not too hard, basic question about previous experience and how to use some tools, the logic for troubleshooting and so.
- Would you be open to working overtime?
Technician
After 2-3 interviews you'll be offered a job. The Boss is mean and aggressive in his conversations and questioning. Insulting and belittling is a part of the process. I guess he wants to beat you down before he hires you.
- Were there many job related questions asked?
Operations Manager
The interview process was a complete joke. I applied for an Operations Manager role where the ad said it paid $100K. When I got there, the receptionist made me take a typing test, which is wild for a management job. Then I spoke with the CEO who asked about my salary expectations. When I mentioned the ad stated $100K, he tried to say that was just a suggested range. It was clearly a scam, so I left.
