& Process

The whole interview process went on for more than a month, which I guess is okay since it was during the holidays. But honestly, communication was pretty scarce and I had to chase the recruiter a bunch of times to get an update. I went through 3 rounds of interviews and then after about 2 weeks, I got an email saying I wasn't selected. I reached out to the recruiter for feedback and never heard back. I know they're busy, but it would've been nice to get some feedback after 3 rounds, even just a quick reply.

I put in for a job through linkedin just before the holidays and heard back from Fingerpaint in under two weeks. They emailed me saying my resume got me a phone interview and to let them know what time worked. The phone chat was about half an hour. First 10 mins were about my field and skills. Then it shifted to personal stuff and hobbies. Last 5-10 mins were for my questions. I asked about the culture, future vision, and what success looks like to see if it was a long-term fit. They said if I was moving on, they'd call or email about an in-person interview. Two weeks later, I got an email to pick a date/time for a 2-3 hour in-person interview. When I got there, they showed me to a room and I waited for my first interviewer. I met with 5 or 6 people, sometimes two at once, but it wasn't too much. They were all really nice, offering water and snacks. Most questions weren't about my experience but more about how much I'd help the team. They don't focus on titles or people saying 'that's not my job.' Apparently, that's frowned upon. They value their culture and won't compromise on it, no matter how good someone is. All in all, it was a good and easy interview process.

Got a message from a recruiter on Linkedin about a remote job, applied, then had 3 zoom interviews over 3 weeks. It was okay, nothing special. One interview got moved up 30 mins without me knowing, so I was late even though I was ready. The interviewer kept talking about bad hires from my old agency which was weird and kinda biased. They ended up hiring someone local to Phoenix, which felt like a waste of my time since they seemed to want someone local from the start.

I went through 3 rounds total with 5 different people. It was a technical interview where they asked about my experiences and how I handle difficult situations. They also asked about my knowledge of the healthcare landscape. The rounds included consultants, then a VP, and then the team/direct manager.
