The initial recruiter interview was relaxed and conversational. We discussed my skills and experience, and I presented some of my portfolio pieces that aligned with the role. We also talked about things like flexible scheduling, health benefits, and the general terms of a freelance contract. They really do live up to their promise: 'Our experienced talent managers will give you honest feedback on your career and offer industry advice. You'll also hear directly from hiring managers and get a leg up on the competition.'

The interview process was enjoyable. We had an extended discussion covering my past experience, skills, background, personality, career aspirations, objectives, and challenges, essentially a comprehensive get-to-know-you session. At that time, the company was led by a group of highly competent individuals who were personally involved in making key hires. This meant they were very committed to meeting candidates and ensuring a strong alignment with both the role and the broader organization.

The interview process was pretty laid back. They were really looking at the skills needed for the job and also how I'd fit in with the team. The group/panel interview part was mostly for me to get to know and chat with the folks I'd be working with. They were super accommodating when it came to scheduling and totally understood my time limitations since I was still working for my previous company when I was interviewing.

First, you'll have a phone call with Filter to see if you're a good fit. If they think you'll impress their clients, they'll bring you in for an in-person interview at Filter. After that, they might submit you for different job openings their clients have. Their biggest client is Microsoft.
