Accounting Intern
The HR interaction was pleasant and made me feel at ease. The process began with a phone call and concluded with a final interview via MS Teams. It all went quite smoothly.
- Can you tell me about your college degree?
- What is the required number of hours you need to render?
Construction Manager
The interviewers were professional and approachable. They inquired about my experience, career aspirations, and how I've tackled challenges in past or current roles. They were interested in my potential contributions to the company. The interviewers are the individuals I would report to. Overall, the interview process was effective and not at all intimidating.
- Tell us about the challenges you've encountered in your current and past positions and the steps you took to manage them.
Specialist
The whole process had 3 one-on-one interviews and 5 tests, and I got the offer in about 1.5 weeks (10 days). First, I had an initial interview with an HR person where we talked about my qualifications, motivations, and psych profile. Right after, I took 5 exams: Psychological Assessment, Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and a Management Exam. Three days later, I got a text asking me to come back for an interview with the Head of Department. This interview was about my qualifications and experiences, and mostly situational questions. The next day, I got a message asking if I was free to interview with the Assistant Vice-President. I interviewed the day after that, and it was mostly situational questions too. Five days later, I got a salary offer, but I declined it since I had a better offer elsewhere.
- Can you describe yourself?
Service Desk Analyst
It was the longest job application that I had in my entire life. I was a walk-in applicant and had my 1st interview, after the interview I was told to wait for the next level, waited about 2 hours and hr came back just to tell me that there's no available person to conduct the 2nd interview and will just call me. After a few days, I received an invite from them. I thought this is the 2nd level now but to my surprise it's half a day exams. Then after that, had a 2nd level interview, the interview went well, the interviewer told me that she will endorse me to the manager. I've waited that same day and one hr came again to tell me they will just call me. While on my way home, I got a call telling me to go back and will have my interview with the manager. Thought that was the last and will finally get a result, to my surprise it wasn't. I will have to undergo panel interview with the big boss as the final. Panel interview wasn't scheduled the same day, need to schedule again on a different day. So I went home. Two days after, I received an sms telling me that I was scheduled for my final interview the next day. So, I said this is it. Prepared myself very well because they said its a panel interview with the bosses. But it's not a panel interview, it's just with the VP of operations. After the interview I was like hopeful because I know the interview went well. But here comes hr telling me that they don't have the result yet. They will just update me for the result but until now I have not received any update from them. I felt I was bullied. I think I deserve to know the result after what I've been through whether it's positive or not. I wouldn't be informed of the result if I didn't ask them for an update. Very poor employment process.
