First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Figo Pet Insurance.
Customer Experience Associate
I applied through Indeed and got a call back for a phone interview the next day. The phone interview lasted 30 minutes and was a basic conversation explaining the role and the company. Pay and benefits were discussed as well. Basic interview questions were asked and I was then invited for a second interview over webcam with 3 hiring managers. The second interview was moderately hard as they use the STAR behavioral interview method so it can be difficult answering such thorough questions with examples on the spot. I felt I did reasonably well as my answers were met with praise each time. I was told I would receive an answer within the next week. After 8 days, I received a rejection email letting me know I was not chosen for the position.
- Can you tell me about a mistake you made at work and how you fixed it?
- How do you deal with employee conflict? Give an example of a time you handled it.
- What are your career goals for the next 5 years?
Claims Adjuster
I applied for the job after seeing the listing. Since these jobs go fast, I sent in my resume and cover letter for 2 roles. On Monday, I got an email asking for my availability for a 30-minute phone interview the next day. We talked about my background and why I was interested. They mentioned they were hiring for 8 positions. We also covered the company, the department, the role, the schedule, and benefits. Then, I was asked to set up a second 1-hour video interview with two colleagues for the next morning. This time, we went deeper into my background, my reasons for wanting a new job, and more about the department and process. I answered some general interview questions. They said they'd be in touch soon. I received a standard email on Monday saying they weren't moving forward with my application. No specific feedback was given, but I know it's a tough market right now with many people in the vet field burning out and looking for roles like this. Everyone I spoke with was really nice and helpful.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
- Can you describe how you handle work-related stress or difficulties?
- What do you consider to be your strongest employee attributes?

Had a 30-minute video call with two people from the team. They asked about my background and experience, and how I'd enhance their current strategies. I also had to provide my portfolio and specific examples of content I've created.
- Have you worked with influencers before?
Data Protection Officer
The interview process started with a video call with a recruiter. They were very friendly. It lasted about 20 minutes, and I'm waiting for an update.
