Programmer
So, the interview process for the Graduate Programmer role at Fidelity International happened online as part of their on-campus recruitment, and it took about a month from February to March 2025. First, there was a registration step. Then, an online assessment that lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes with 14 sections covering coding, MCQs on Aptitude, OOPS, CN, SQL, OS, DSA, and more. After that, candidates who were shortlisted had a 30-minute technical interview, followed by another 30-minute HR interview, which might vary. If selected, people were called for a meeting to register for an Apprenticeship Program, and finally, the results were declared. Oh, and I was selected!

Software Engineer
The interview process was highly unprofessional. It started with a written question that felt outdated. Then, there was a technical interview, which went well. Following that was a managerial interview, which was also good, with a bit of pressure. After that, an HR round covered salary discussion and company information. This all happened in a single day. Things seemed very professional, and the role appeared critical. They later requested documents, which were submitted, and a medical test was completed. However, the person managing the process then left the company. The tone changed, and there was no response or offer letter for over a month. This points to extreme unprofessionalism and possible internal politics to favor their own candidate. Multiple attempts to communicate were unsuccessful.
