First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fidelity International.
Senior Project Manager
I had two interviews, one with the hiring manager and another with HR. The overall experience was good and pleasant. The onboarding was also very friendly and had easy steps. The vetting process took a bit longer, but it wasn't a major issue.
- Tell me about yourself and what makes you a good fit for this role.
Project Manager
The whole process was a mess from the beginning, with lots of confusion and bad communication. It was really unprofessional. The feedback I got was just weird. Honestly, it was such a bad experience, I'm actually happy I didn't get the job.
- How do you handle challenging stakeholders?
- Can you give an example of using your influential skills?
- What level of seniority have your stakeholders typically been?
Project Manager
The interview process involved a few steps. First, there was an HR pre-screening with some competence questions. Then, a set of four interviews covering business, technology, and other areas, all scheduled on the same day. Finally, a hiring manager interview focused on technical questions related to the role. After that, I had a background check and received an offer.
- Can you share an instance where you resolved a complex stakeholder situation?
