Behavioral Technical

Applied and answered some initial questions about why I'm interested in this firm and industry, plus some typical behaviorals. Then I had to do an online assessment, which I think was SHL, involving numerical and verbal reasoning. After that, I had a short video interview with an analyst that lasted about 15-20 minutes. They asked me a mix of behavioral questions and questions specific to the industry.

Behavioral Technical Case Group Presentation

We had essay questions as part of the application. The first round was a zoom call with an analyst, but it started an hour late, which I heard happens a lot – some people even get forgotten. Then, there was a 2-hour group case study with other interviewees, where we had 1.5 hours to prep. This involved a group discussion followed by a 1:1, which felt unfair because later people had more prep time. The whole thing was pretty unstructured and disorganized, with other issues too. Finally, we had a round with higher-ups. None of the interview rounds were great experiences, and I probably won't apply to Fidelity again.

Technical Coding Behavioral

It was an on-campus internship opportunity. There were 3 rounds. First, an online test on Mettl with questions on aptitude, AI, technical subjects, and one coding question. Around 8-9% were shortlisted. Next was a technical interview focusing on projects, OS, CN, and general questions. Lastly, an HR interview asking about why Fidelity, relevance of company values to your role and personality, and your skills. 4 out of 70 students were selected for the 6-month internship.
