Technical Coding

The interview started with a 30-minute screening where they asked some SQL questions to check my query writing and problem-solving abilities. After that, I had a technical round with the hiring manager. This round involved deep problem-solving, discussions specific to the role, and some real-world scenario questions. The whole process looked at both my technical skills and how well I can think analytically.

Behavioral Technical Case

Applied online and a recruiter called me pretty quickly for a first chat. Then I had a 30-min call with HR about my background, salary stuff, and when I could start. After that, I got a case study to do on data analysis and BI. Next up was a 60-min virtual panel with the hiring manager and two team folks where we did STAR method questions, both behavioral and technical. Finally, I talked with a senior exec about company culture and where I see things going long-term. I got the offer about a week later. The whole thing took about 3 weeks.

Behavioral Other

I had a recruiter phone screen, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person interview with the hiring manager and the team. There was also an editing test, which made sense for the role. I thought it went well and I really connected with the team. I sent thank-you notes and followed up with the recruiter a week later. They said no decision yet but would let me know. I never heard back at all, not even a rejection email. It's a bummer after putting in so much effort to not even get a notification that they hired someone else or decided to wait on hiring.
