First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FEV North America.
Account Manager
Started with a recruiter call, then got totally ghosted. Seriously unprofessional - no follow-up email, no call, no feedback at all. They just vanished after the initial chat. HR seemed upbeat during the interview, then radio silence.
- Can you tell me how you came across this job opening?
Project Engineer
The interview started with a phone interview where they asked about my experience in school and projects. Then, I toured the facility and was quizzed on various engine components, instrumentation, the vehicle, and engine theory. They also asked about my strengths and areas for improvement.
- Can you describe the projects you were involved in during school?
- Tell me about how things worked, specifically concerning engines.
Engineering Assistant
It was great, Initially, i was nervous and mentioned that to the Interviewer when he greeted me. He made me comfortable with the place and we basically had a long chat about engines. They started the questions with basic principles and the questions continued according to my answers.
- Can you explain the fundamental difference between S.I. and C.I. engines?
- What are the various after-treatment methods used for C.I. engines?
Student Worker
It was a very relaxed chat. The head of the department and the company were introduced, and then I was asked to introduce myself. Then there were questions about my resume and grades, but it was all done in a friendly way. Finally, they asked about my interests in relation to the job.
