This seems like a pretty typical technical interview process. It checks your technical skills and if you'd fit in, plus there's a specific technical test to see what you can do. Here's how it goes: 1. First chat: To get to know you and see if you know the basics. Expect questions about your past work, what you've done, and where you want to go. They might ask some tech questions to see what you know. 2. Tech test: To check how you solve problems and use your tech knowledge. This could be a coding task, designing a system, or something else technical. Make sure you can break down hard problems, write good code, and explain how you think. 3. Offer: If you did well in the earlier parts, you'll get the job offer here.

I applied through LinkedIn and they scheduled the interview for the next day, but I don't think I'll move forward. The interview was quick and relaxed. Two people joined, one from HR and one from the technical side. The HR person talked about the company and asked about my experience. Then, the technical person asked some questions about Vue.js.

They didn't explain it would be a code challenge in the second stage, and I was caught by surprise having to share my screen with an evaluator who didn't even have his camera on. It was a Ruby on Rails code challenge on the HackerRank platform, involving fixing code errors to pass RSpec test stages. Communication was difficult before, during, and after the process. They don't give feedback.

It was an interview in English with 3 people. 2 were Brazilian and 1 was from the United States. They were very friendly, overall a positive experience. They asked about my programming journey so far and why I want to work with them. They also inquired about my approach to React development, specifically Hooks or Class components, which seemed to be an important factor for them. I believe this might have been why I didn't pass, as I felt I did well overall. They also explained the company and its benefits.

  • Could you describe your experience with React.js, specifically mentioning your preference or usage of Hooks versus Class components?
