Specialist
I was contacted by the recruiter and had my first and final interviews within a week, which I appreciated for being a quick process. The first round was with the director, followed by a panel interview with directors and representatives from different departments. The final interview lasted about two hours and required me to adjust my workday to accommodate their schedule, as they repeatedly emphasized the need to wrap things up soon. While I initially didn’t mind the fast pace, the limited preparation time—especially during a busy workweek leading into the holidays—did make it challenging to feel fully prepared. Ultimately, I didn’t receive an offer, with the feedback being that my responses weren’t detailed enough. Given the constraints, this felt a bit unfair. Some aspects of the interview stood out positively, particularly the professionalism of a few team members. However, not all interviewers shared the same level of engagement; one even appeared distracted, texting during my responses. This left me feeling undervalued and a bit frustrated, especially considering the time and effort I invested. Overall, I’d describe the experience as neutral. While parts of the process were handled well, there were moments that could have been more considerate and respectful of a candidate’s time and effort.

Support Specialist
It went well; everyone who interviewed me was kind, considerate, and competent. My three interviews and one evaluation were straightforward affairs in which I was asked questions about my professional background and given an explanation of the position. The assessment consisted of answering brief questions regarding particular situations and your responses to them. I am satisfied with the procedure because I didn't have to wait too long to learn that I had been chosen—they informed me the same day I had the last interview and the process lasted about 4 days.
- Can you describe your career experience?
- How do you handle day-to-day work challenges?
- How do you foster positive relationships with colleagues?
Client Support Specialist
It was pretty easy if you've done customer service for a bit and had some retail management experience. I was a shift lead at Walgreens when I interviewed at Fetch for this role, and I'd also done some self-taught web development for about 2 years before that. The interview had normal questions like "tell me about what your customer service experience" or "how would you handle a difficult customer in X situation". They also asked "tell me how to make a peanut butter & jelly sandwich" to see how I explain procedures, which is important for teaching users in Zendesk.
- Can you explain how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?
- What's your approach to dealing with a challenging customer in a specific scenario?
- Describe your customer service background.
