I had to do a take home assignment that took a few hours. It involved coding in Python. Then, I had an interview with a data analyst. It went really well, and I answered all their technical questions on SQL. Unfortunately, I was rejected right after, with no feedback.

So, the interview started with a take-home assessment. You could use SQL or Python to answer it, and it was basically to see how you handle data-analytical problems. The dataset was pretty messy, needed a lot of preprocessing, and there might not be any single right answer since it really depends on your data handling. You could give a super detailed explanation and analysis, but you wouldn't even get to talk to the team or explain your thinking. No feedback at all. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest putting too much time into it.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • A take-home test to check your data analysis abilities.
