I applied online to FERCHAU in Reutlingen in June 2024. Soon after, I got a friendly invitation for a phone call to get to know each other. The call was short, structured, and pleasant. After that, I was invited to an online assessment, which included a personality test, logic/cognitive tests, and some job-specific questions. It all worked without any problems, and I received a detailed report afterward. However, shortly after the assessment, I received an email rejection. The feedback was friendly but lacked a detailed reason. Overall, the process was professionally organized, but quite extensive considering the duration and outcome of the process.

It was a really nice chat. They started by asking about my education and any previous work experience. Then, relating to the job's specific needs, they asked me to explain a project or experience where I met a requirement, for instance, by using a certain software. A lot of the questions were just to get a sense of my background, but they also asked about my salary expectations at the end.

I applied for a position and then received a call. The interview in Düsseldorf went really well, and I was contacted several times with offers, but ultimately, we never ended up working together. I have a very positive memory of the HR person in Düsseldorf. I can't say the same about the Wuppertal position because the phone contact wasn't friendly. Someone else's experience with the Wuppertal position also confirmed their unfriendly manner to me.
