NOC Manager
The interview process went pretty smoothly overall. It started with a recruiter call, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and then a group interview with some team members. The questions were mostly about management, though a few in the last interview seemed to come from people new to interviewing. It was a good experience overall, moving fast with good communication. I was told to reach out after 12/1 if I didn't hear back, which I did twice, but got no response. The job market is tough, and even a simple update that they've moved on would be appreciated. It seems this is how the company operates based on others' experiences.
- Can you describe your approach to leadership and how you manage different scenarios?
- Tell me about how you handle situations.
Solutions Architect
The interview process was laid out from the start. First, a recruiter screening call, where they also mentioned the salary range for the role. Then, a technical interview with the hiring manager and a technologist. After that, a business interview with the Sales Director. Finally, there was a presentation interview in front of the hiring manager, technologist, Sales Director, and the CTO.
- Can you discuss your general technology knowledge?
- How is your knowledge of cybersecurity?
Systems Administrator
Average interview - teams meeting to go over experience and expectations. Review background and what they expect from the role. Explains the team and who’d they prefer as a team player. Sets the expectations super quickly for what the role will be.
- Can you tell us about your experience in this field?
Team Lead
I had two interviews over MS Teams. The first was with the hiring manager, about 30 minutes, where they described the role. The second was also about 30 minutes with someone in managed services who used to do the job, and it was a basic technical interview. The role description in the first meeting didn't really match what the second interviewer understood it to be.
- What's motivating your job search?
