The interview process is fun! They seem to really like everyone there and will accept you no matter what. They are really trying to determine if you are a good fit to be called into ministry. I would tell anyone to just be themselves. God will guide you!

It was a very long and thorough process because it requires fundraising. They use personality profiles and other tests to ensure a good fit. You also have to complete 40 hours of training before you can even interview.

The hiring process started with a 2-hour Theological Questionnaire that delved into my Christian viewpoints. After that, there was a Tryout Training period, which was quite extensive, taking around 15-20 hours. This part involved watching several videos, doing readings, and passing quizzes. They also scheduled a virtual interview with both the Regional Director and the State Director. However, I didn't proceed to this final stage because I decided to withdraw due to what I found to be an unethical and overly long hiring process. The primary ethical concern was that FCA requires candidates to fundraise their entire annual salary. Furthermore, they stated that if you begin this fundraising process and then withdraw, the FCA keeps the money raised for its own ministry. While I recognize that fundraising for one's salary is common in many non-profit organizations, it's particularly unethical to mandate this, especially without a guaranteed employment offer even after successfully raising the funds.

I met with two team members who had my resume. They asked me some questions about my experience and my interest in working for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The interview lasted about an hour, and it covered their questions for me as well as my questions about the company and the job. Overall, it felt like a good interview.
