The hiring process was really geared towards a specific type of candidate, and if you don't fit their exact mold, don't bother applying. The hiring manager seemed completely uninterested in me from the start, even though my experience was a perfect match for the job. He barely looked at me and rushed through the end of the interview.

The BAR interview format is Background Action Result. They will ask you to give an example of a time when you had to handle specific situations that you may encounter as a manager. For example, when you had to have a conversation with a disgruntled employee, a time when you implemented a new system or structure, or a time when you had a hard time handling something or needed help. And the answer should be returned in the BAR format so start with the background or context for the situation, what action you took, and finally the result of the situation.

Standard interview process. They want you to respond using the BAR format. Two people interviewed me. The questions were pretty much what every interviewer asks. I was 21 at the time with little work experience. It was easy.
