Assistant Manager
The hiring process usually has a few main parts to make sure we pick the right people. Here's how it generally goes: We start by figuring out if we actually need someone new and what they'll be doing, plus what skills they need. Then we write up a job description that's clear about what the job is and what's expected. After that, we look for candidates using things like job sites, our own website, social media, recruiters, and employee recommendations. We have a way to get and handle applications, making it easy for people to apply. We then sort through the applications, looking at resumes and cover letters, maybe using software to help filter, and pick out the best candidates. The next step is interviewing, where we do initial calls or video chats and then set up in-person interviews for those who move forward. We prepare questions and how we'll judge the answers. Finally, we do assessments.

Management Trainee
The interview process was quite complicated, involving tasks to assess collaboration skills during a pre-interview session. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential, and strong communication skills are crucial!
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What relevant experience do you have?
- Can you share your weaknesses?
Technology Manager
The interview process involved three rounds. It started with a telephonic interview with a junior IT person, followed by a telephonic interview with the Business & Customer Technology Manager. The final interview was in person with the Business & Customer Technology Manager. The role was initially misrepresented as an executive position. The interviewer seemed more focused on appearance, punctuality, and academic background rather than the candidate's actual experience and cultural alignment. Questions about culture were taken out of context, and the interviewer's overall attitude and responses were contrary to the company's stated 'People-first' philosophy.
- The questions were very old-school and scripted.
- The preparation for the interview was lacking.
- The interview style was not suited for an executive level role.
