Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FedEx.
Customer Service Representative
the interview went very well with a site visit and about 30 min spent with an employee in the role to get a view of the day to day. The process was a call then an in-person interview and finally a last interview with the manager.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What are your salary expectations?
- Do you have knowledge of incoterms?
Customer Service Representative
The hiring manager made me feel like I didn't know how to answer behavioral questions. I was nervous because I hadn't been in a role for a while, but I'm used to behavioral interviews. What was really off-putting was the manager's attitude—it felt biased and discriminatory, which was a first for me and made a big impression. Luckily, I'm now with a Federation that recognizes my value and pays me double what that company was offering. It definitely showed me my worth.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
Customer Service Representative
It was a pretty straightforward interview, mostly just asking about my past work experiences and how I handle myself professionally. They also wanted to know the reasons behind leaving my last position. Standard interview stuff, really, nothing unexpected.
- What was the reason for leaving your prior job?
- Can you describe your previous work experiences?
- How do you present yourself professionally?
