This is a 4 step process. First, you apply. Then, there's a phone interview with a recruiter. After that, you'll interview with the District Manager. Finally, you'll get an offer letter. The whole process involves many emails with the recruiter. It's also likely that the position you wanted has already been given to an internal employee, and they will offer you the worst position. In my case, I took the worst position, but you can transfer after 6 months.

I got contacted right away to set up an interview. The interviewer was late by 45 minutes. The interview itself went fine, and they said they'd call within a week. But then, 45 days later, I got an email saying the position was closed, even though I'd followed up two weeks before that. Basically, don't count on FedEx. Their hiring process is as slow as their deliveries.
