I got a call back about a month after I applied. The interview was supposed to start on time but I had to wait about 5 minutes for it to begin. It ran for about 30 minutes, maybe a bit longer. If you move forward and get an offer, you'll have to fill out paperwork online. After that, there's a drug test you need to take within 2 business days of them asking. Mine took a bit longer because of some paperwork issues, but it usually goes faster.
- Before we begin, would you like to ask any questions?
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
- Can you share an experience of dealing with a challenging customer situation?

I applied online and there was a lengthy assessment to take. Got a call a few days later and had a phone interview with the center manager. We talked about my background and they asked some behavioral questions based on the assessment. At the end of the call, I was asked to come in the next day for an in-person interview. There, I was asked more behavioral questions from a packet. The manager selected about 7 or 8 questions for me from the packet that related to my application, assessment results, and our previous conversation. Most were straightforward, but a few caught me off guard and many felt repetitive. The manager also asked clarifying questions about my answers and to get to know me better. The interview lasted an hour. A couple of days later, I got a call from the center manager saying I was the top candidate and I should come in to meet the District Manager. He was very nice and friendly. He had my packet from the first manager. I briefly discussed my work history, and he asked a few questions about my experience. This interview was completely free-form. He asked a question and then followed up based on my answer. He also shared some personal experiences related to our discussion. This interview was about 45 minutes. About 15 minutes after leaving, I got a call from the center manager saying they both loved me and wanted to offer me the position.
- Can you explain why you're interested in working for FedEx?
- Describe an instance where you delivered outstanding customer service.

When I arrived, I wasn't greeted. The only time I was greeted was when an employee came from the back room. I was then directed to the manager's office and asked to take a seat. I was questioned about my hair and how I style it, and if we are allowed to have red hair or braids. My hair wasn't like that at the time, which truly astonished me, but I needed the job, so I continued with the interview. I then handed him my resume and cover letter.
- Tell me about your hair and how you style it.
- What is your understanding of our policies regarding hair color and styles like braids?
