Fedex reached out after I applied for an Account Executive sales role. The whole process was incredibly long, taking two months and involving three phone interviews. It ended with an in-person meeting with the hiring manager, who I had spoken with on the phone before. After all this time and effort, and with what felt like a guaranteed offer, they ended up choosing someone else. They really know how to make you waste your time.

Behavioral Presentation

It started with a quick call from a recruiter to see if I was interested and to tell me about the company and job. Then, the same recruiter did a longer phone interview to decide if I'd move on to a face-to-face with the sales manager. A senior sales exec might also be there for that one. If they liked me, I had to come back for a final panel interview with the sales manager and a regional director. I had to have a 30-60-90 day plan ready. After that, if all went well, I got an offer a few days later, pending a background check. Really professional the whole way.

Behavioral Technical

I interviewed with the Sales Manager I would eventually be hired by. After the first interview, I had a second interview with the same sales manager and the Managing Director. Questions focused on results - 'give me an example', 'tell me about a time' type questions and general review of company and job expectations are provided, including compensation. Successful completion results in tentative job offer contingent on drug screen and background check.
