So the campus hire process has three steps: First, you interview with a Manager. Then, there's a half-day group session hosted by HR with other people interviewing, where they tell you more about the Bank. After that, you have two more interviews with different Managers. Finally, you interview with an Officer.

I went through an interview process in October 2010 on campus for a financial analyst job at the Kansas City Branch. Interestingly, two bank examiners interviewed me and mostly asked behavioral questions. They weren't very helpful in answering my questions about the financial analyst role because they didn't work in the same state as the branch headquarters and didn't seem to know the daily tasks of the job. I got the vibe that unless you're aiming to be a bank examiner at the FED, you'll need an advanced degree, or you'll end up doing basic work with limited career growth. Glad I didn't move forward, though I thought I did okay. I might have seemed not eager enough for the job.

I applied online and then got a call to set up a conference interview that happened about 10 days after the application deadline. I talked to three assistant vice presidents for around 25 minutes. HR asked for more info two days after that.
