First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
Administrative Assistant
The interview process was lengthy (1 month), but the Talent Acquisition Consultant advised this during the initial screen. TAC would be my point of contact throughout the process. Recruiting Coord scheduled the interviews. First round was with an AVP and Manager (hiring Manager) who were so welcoming and broke the ice with "tell me about you PERSONALLY". Following week, 2nd round was scheduled. Second (final) round was the another AVP, a VP, a Sr. Executive Admin and a Executive Admin, along with the Hiring Manager. The group was very welcoming again (a trait that really stood out to me about the team and really reinforced my desire to join the team). That interview was on a Friday. Monday, TAC contacted me advising the team wanted to being reference check. Tuesday mid-morning TAC advised reference report was completed. Wednesday evening TAC called to extend offer and Thursday afternoon I accepted! TAC was very knowledgeable, thorough and stayed very much in communication with me throughout the process. TAC welcomed me the Fed and expressed the team's excitement to have me join them. TAC advised next steps was to begin the background check and timeframe, as well as my On-Boarding Specialist. TAC congratulated and welcomed me once more to the Fed! If the interview process is any indication of what the Fed is like, I KNOW I made the right choice and am going to be happy to hang my hat there at the Fed!

Executive Assistant
I had a great experience with the HR recruiter; she was always dependable and available to answer my questions. The interview process involved two phone interviews, followed by a meeting with a C-level executive. Everyone I met was friendly, smart, and committed to the company's success. This company is a top choice in DFW, offering a great atmosphere and good employee treatment, with opportunities for internal promotion.

Had an initial phone screen for about 20 minutes, mostly behavioral questions. The next interview was in person with the recruiter and the HR VP. Had to do some assessments on Word and Excel. The final interview was with the hiring manager.
