It was a one-way video interview. There were 6 questions total, and I had enough time to think and record my answers. The instructions were easy to follow, and the whole process was simple. I could retake my answers as many times as I wanted, which was helpful in case I made a mistake.

I applied for about 5 different positions. The process took a long time, around 45 days, and I interviewed with 9 different people during that period (mostly because I applied to so many roles). The interviews focused less on my knowledge and past experience, and more on how I react and handle different scenarios. I later learned that the interview process is designed to assess how well a potential employee fits the company's culture and mission. Integrity and ethics are extremely important at FCCI, and it's not just talk like at other places. This company genuinely wants to do what's right for its clients, and since it's a private company, they aren't beholden to shareholders.

Behavioral Technical

Started with a recruiter meet and greet, then a 40-min Zoom with the manager. Since I was a top candidate, they flew me out to their main office in Sarasota for interviews. There, I met with the SVP, 2 recruiters, and 3 staff members individually over a couple of hours. Got a call from a recruiter saying things went well and they needed references. A few days later, I got an email saying they changed the job and weren't moving forward. This was a long process and they pulled the rug out from under me. They say they're progressive but only offer 1 remote day, which is why IT people don't want to work there.

Applied through indeed and got a call a week later from HR. The HR call was very thorough and asked mostly around my experience and my thought process. Had one management interview on phone and later was invited onsite for a group/panel round. I enjoyed the interview process and the company vision. FCCI seems to be very careful in their selection process, which is a good thing.
