First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fast Water Heater Company.
Permit Coordinator
the interview process was pretty quick and had two interviews. first was a phone call with recruiting, and the second was an in-person meeting with the recruiter and the hiring manager.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
- Could you share some examples from your career that showcase your qualifications for this role?
- We had some questions about your personality to see how you'd get along with the team.
Installation Coordinator
I think I applied and then got set up for an in-person interview. When I got there, I was greeted warmly. The interview itself was with my two current managers and the recruiter I had been talking to. It went well, and despite feeling anxious, everyone was really nice and understanding.

Sales
The hiring process is a load of lies. The manager who you meet with is looking for a salesman of course, however everything he tells you about the company is a load of crap. For starters the salary you are promised is an absolute lie. Following that the hours promised is a lie, you will not be working 40 a week, you will be working far more than that. Also the culture of the company as he or she describes it is complete bogus as well.
- Basic sales questions
- Questions about your sales experience
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
Water Heater Technician
The interview process had 2 phone interviews and then one in person interview. They checked my job history and experiences. Everyone was very friendly and knew a lot. The supervisors and recruiters were super helpful and clear about what I needed to bring to the interview.
- What is your approach when you encounter a problem you don't know how to solve?
