Software Developer
The interview process was really drawn out and took ages to get set up. Because of COVID-19, it was tough to hear through the mask, and the questions were a bit unclear. Talking on the phone just isn't the same as talking face-to-face.
- Can you explain the difference between a process and a thread?
QA Analyst
It was a really nice interview process, I felt like I learned a lot about the company. They got back to me quickly and gave me plenty of time to decide on the offer. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview with set questions.
- Are you familiar with Soap UI?
Technology
The interview process was very detailed. I was asked very specific questions about my subject. There were some personality questions, and after that came the technical questions. Once we were done with the technical questions, the manager brought his laptop and asked me to show him specific things to what I was applying for.
- Be prepared for some trick questions.
IT Support Engineer
So it was a few interviews, first with some pairs of people who seemed a bit higher up and also my potential future managers. They looked at my personal info, and we talked about my background and what I've done before. Then, they tested my basic troubleshooting and documentation skills. After that, they checked my technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities in areas like networking, setting up equipment, installing and configuring operating systems, supporting applications, and how systems work together. They really emphasized communication and how I document things. They also presented some escalation scenarios to see how I'd handle them.
- How would you solve a brain teaser about measuring water with two buckets of different sizes?
