It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a chat with a team member for cultural fit. They said they wanted to speed things up, so they scheduled a session with engineering and UX on the same day I had an hour with the hiring manager. I thought it all went well, but I haven't heard anything back in the weeks since, even after I reached out to the recruiter directly.

First, I had a quick chat with the recruiter. Then, I had a video call with the hiring manager, which was less than 30 minutes. They asked one question about how I handled moving from an individual contributor role to delegating tasks to my team, but cut me off mid-answer.

The interview process had several stages, about 5-6 in total. I spoke with HR, the Hiring Manager who is a Group PM, the Head of Product, developers on the squad, and other relevant people like those from Data and UX. Everyone was on time, easy to talk to, and asked good questions. They were also open and transparent when I asked them stuff, which was really nice. It seemed like everyone I met genuinely loves working at Fareharbor. I got frequent updates, and they were happy to share feedback when I asked for it. Unlike other PM interviews where they ask a bunch of irrelevant questions or have too many stages with repeated questions for different people, Fareharbor did a good job of being thorough but also efficient.
