Senior Software Engineer
The interview process was straightforward. The interviewers were friendly and professional, asking questions related to industry and Btech knowledge. They made sure not to create any pressure. The HR team was also very professional and helpful.
- Can you explain Structured Language and how it differs from standard PLC?
Software Developer
This was a fair and very professional interview process. The first part was a technical interview that felt good. There was a nice presentation about the company, and I had an interesting conversation about robots. The second half of the interview focused on attitude. There was a panel of four people involved in the process.
- Can you explain the difference between temporary variables and table variables?
- What is table partitioning and how does it work?
- Could you define delegate and explain its use cases?
Software Engineer
The interview was a walk-in at Fanuc India in Bangalore. First, there was a screening, a multiple-choice questionnaire, which I passed. Then, a written round where the manager presented an SQL scenario, and I had to write the solution, which I also passed. The next round was coding, where I had to develop a Web/Windows Form application with logic and validations. After these initial rounds, HR said they would contact me. A subsequent round was scheduled on a weekday, focusing on a high-level discussion about my experience and how I'd fit into their work environment. I cleared this round and was told I'd proceed to the GM and head HR round. The final round was also on a weekday. During this round, I was asked many personal, irrelevant questions. The interviewer asked me to sign a bond, which I refused. Despite my experience, they treated me like a fresher, unprofessionally. After waiting over an hour, the HR informed me I hadn't cleared because I wasn't interested in a long-term contract. I wanted to ask them why I would travel 60km from my office if I wasn't interested, but they gave weak reasons.
- Regarding my college choice, why did I select one in a different state when options were available in my home state?
