Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FanDuel.

The entire interview process was virtual. I never got to speak with anyone to build any connection. I understand that a company like FanDuel probably doesn't have the staff to interview everyone who applies. I would have at least liked an email letting me know I wasn't moving forward, but they just stopped responding.
- Can you tell me about a time you disagreed with a colleague?

It was a pretty chill interview process, felt more like a regular chat. They wanted to see how my past experiences fit with what they're looking for in the role. There were 4 interviews in total: one with HR, another with the hiring manager, then one with some team members, and the last one was with the director.
- Could you share about the most recent gift you purchased for someone?

Applied online, I think way back in September. Got an assessment on December 16, had a week to finish it. About 3 weeks later, got an email asking to interview. There were 3 separate 20 minute interviews over Zoom. Seemed to go okay, not much time for questions because they were short. Got a rejection email 2 days later. Never spoke to a recruiter over the phone, so no idea how much to prep or how it went. Terrible process, no communication at all. A joke.
- Tell me about your experience with coding languages and data visualization tools.
- Can you share examples of specific projects or work you've done using these tools?
- How do you see your past experience applying to casino analytics?
