First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Family Health Network.
Sales Representative
The first question was about my motivation for sales. It's important to note that having your own car is a must because they don't provide transportation for the first six months, though they do cover gas and related expenses. I didn't get a good vibe from the interview.
- Why are you interested in sales?
- Do you own a car?
- What are your salary expectations?
Perinatal and Family Care Coordinator
The Senior Manager was unprofessional and didn't know much about insurance, so they couldn't do a good interview. The HR Rep was good and efficient, covering the important stuff. HR doesn't let you pick your start date, they just decide what works for them, which messes up PTO, bonuses, and benefits for employees.
- How do you handle changes and learning new things?
Project Manager
HR called me and said I was good for round two. Later that week, I met with a panel in person. They were great and really wanted to know about my past experiences. They asked a lot of situational questions, and it was very conversational. I could tell they love their jobs and have lots of experience. I got the offer on Monday after interviewing on Friday.
- What actions would you take if a team member failed to complete their part of a project before the deadline?
- What is your understanding of managed care?
Reporting Analyst
The interview experience was negative. I felt there might have been age discrimination due to the hiring manager's reaction. The staffing agency required me to prepare two extensive documents detailing my background. During the interview, the hiring manager requested proprietary documentation on a project's development and a specific reporting spec list, which seemed excessive given the limited competition. HR scrutinized my resume chronologically, criticizing aspects of my past roles. The hiring manager's boss joined via speakerphone, and two expected attendees were absent. Despite initial appearances of friendliness, the team was very unprofessional. My candidacy was rejected without adequate feedback after significant effort in documentation and phone interviews, feeling like a complete waste of time.
- How would you organize and create a project plan for the role you are hiring for?
- Describe how you developed a project.
- Can you provide a specific reporting spec list?
