First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Falcon's Creative Group.
Executive Assistant
I applied online. A team interview was set up quickly after I submitted my application. The questions were pretty chill. They mentioned I should expect to hear back within a week. However, after that week passed and I hadn't heard anything, I followed up, but there was still no response. It's really baffling how companies can ghost candidates like this, and honestly, I don't even want to try and understand such a thoughtless approach.

UX Designer
I had two interviews. The first was with the team I would be working with, and the second was with HR. Everyone seemed great and passionate about their work. I enjoyed talking with the managers and felt I answered all their questions well; it was very friendly. The main issue was the salary negotiation. They offered 20-30k less than the median salary in Florida for 1-3 years of experience, and they make you state your range first. If you want the job, be prepared to lowball yourself. You can't rely on market rates for pay at Falcon's. This suggests either ignorance of UX designer market trends (showing a lack of seriousness about the profession) or a deliberate low offer, indicating disloyalty and a high turnover rate. My feedback is to at least offer the minimum market value. Otherwise, you'll just get people who want experience before leaving for better opportunities. I even said I was willing to negotiate lower than my stated rate and keep the conversation open.

Designer
I applied online and they reached out within a few days to schedule an in-person interview. The interviewers were really nice and gave me a tour of the office and introduced me to some staff. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview. We went over my portfolio, then discussed my past experience and future ambitions. It was a pleasant and comfortable experience overall. I didn't get the job, but they told me quite soon, so I wasn't left hanging.
- Would you prefer working at a small company or a big one?
Office Manager
So they got back to me about three weeks after I sent in my application. We did a phone interview first, and then I went in for an in-person interview at their office. The first 15 minutes or so of the in-person interview felt like a repeat of the phone call because another staff member joined late. I was pretty hyped about this job because I really thought I was perfect for it and was genuinely interested in their company's work, but by the end of the in-person interview, that excitement had totally disappeared. I got the impression they were trying to rush me out the door after only about 30 minutes, so I didn't really get a chance to properly sell myself. And then, crickets. I kind of figured it didn't go well when I left, but they never even bothered to let me know I didn't get the job. Honestly, the main reason I'm writing this and giving them a thumbs down is because of that. Job hunting is already super stressful, and it gets worse when you're left in limbo without any closure. I get not hearing back if I wasn't even interviewed, but if you meet someone face-to-face, the least you can do is send a quick message to say they weren't selected. I even reached out about 10 days later just asking for a simple 'no,' but still, nothing. I'm not asking for special treatment, and I know people are busy, but that feels really disrespectful to me. It's not that I'm bitter about not getting the job; I'm just annoyed that they didn't communicate. And I want others interviewing with them to be ready for the possibility of the same thing happening. If I had known, it would have helped me to mentally prepare and not get my hopes up so high.
